Tower Realm Patch Notes

Official Steam news, dated, without inventing a private changelog.

Patch Notes

Charge Piggy Studio posts Tower Realm news on the Steam community hub for app 4550370. This page restates those notes so you do not have to hunt the feed while a save is open. It is not a leak blog. If a line is not in Steam news, it is not here as a fact.

Play methods still live under Guides. Shopping still lives on DLC. When a patch changes how a tower records a clear, come back here, then re-check the matching tower page.

Release delay — 2 August 2026

The studio wrote that Tower Realm was originally scheduled for 3 August and slipped into August because of issues in the final review. The game was described as largely complete. That is why some third-party listings still show 3 August as a date. The store and the launch post use 11 August 2026 (UTC+8) as the day it actually shipped.

If you preloaded or wishlisted against the earlier day, you did not miss a silent launch. You waited through a review hold.

Launch post — 11 August 2026

The official release note lists three base towers: Destined Melody (60 floors), A Saga of Tower Chapter 1 (65 floors), and System Cultivating (80 floors). List price $3.99 with a 15% launch discount. First DLC batch: Saga Chapter 2 at 105 floors and Rhythm Cultivation Chapter 1 at 115 floors, each $1.99 with 10% off. The same post mentions bundles with Chronicle of Scarlet and Requiem of Reuinis. Those are other games. A bundle discount is not a fourth Tower Realm chapter. Details sit on the review and links pages.

The studio said more DLC will be added. There is still no public calendar. Do not treat a wiki placeholder as a date.

1.0.6 changelog

Steam’s English 1.0.6 note covers several live bugs:

  • Passing issues on some tiles in The Saga of Tower.
  • Text errors in Destined Melody.
  • A Destined Melody bug that let players reach the underground floor at the start of the game.
  • Custom Mode failing to save if you entered a tower without a save folder.
  • Scroll-wheel use on the floor teleporter.
  • Repeated Steam initialization failures, plus clearer failure text.

If the client still says it failed to initialize Steam, the same note tells you to restart Steam, check for a Steam client update, and clear the download cache under Steam → Settings → Downloads. The troubleshooting page walks that loop without mixing it into combat math.

The underground-floor start bug matters for Destined Melody. If a run began in a basement you did not unlock, that was not a secret the homage wanted to teach on minute one. Update, then start a clean file if the map already looks wrong.

Custom Mode’s missing-folder save bug matters for the Custom Mode guide. Create a normal save in the tower first, then spend clear points. Do not assume a crashed custom run is a strategy failure.

1.0.6.1 — Thousand Towers records

The follow-up note (Chinese title on the hub, posted the same news day) fixes two A Thousand Towers Journey problems:

  • An exploit that let players steal the large Green Key C2.
  • Chapter 1 recording every clear as a 999 Green Key clear no matter how you actually finished.

If you farmed Chapter 1 before 1.0.6.1, treat the 999 stamp as untrustworthy. The hardcore diploma is what you did on the map, not what a bugged counter printed. After the patch, do one honest clear and look at the record again. The Thousand Towers page is the chapter context; this page is why the counter lied.

Community posts also asked whether Green Key use is tracked at all, and whether pickaxes can break green doors. The 999 bug proves the game tries to record green-key clears. It does not prove every door interaction. We will not invent pickaxe rules. If the handbook or an NPC explains a tool, believe the tower.

What we are not seeing

No official YouTube trailer with a stable public ID showed up in search at the time this page was written. Steam news and the store are the primary sources. This wiki will not embed a guessed video. When Charge Piggy posts a real watch URL, it can sit in the middle of this article — one embed, one ID.

Steam reviews on the store sat at Positive on a small sample (about 80% of roughly twenty reviews). That is a temperature, not a Metacritic. Pair it with the buyer’s guide.

How to use this hub page

After any client update: verify game files if a tower will not boot, then read the matching tower page, then play. Do not reroute Destined Melody because Saga tiles were patched. Do not spend a Green Key because a record showed 999. Do not skip Getting started Cloud checks because 1.0.6 mentioned Steam init.

Official news lives on the Steam community app hub. Bookmark that next to this wiki. When a 1.0.7 appears, it should get a dated section here, a fact check against facts, and a line on any tower whose map or record changed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Tower Realm questions.

When did Tower Realm actually launch?

11 August 2026, UTC+8, after a delay from the original 3 August target. Steam news posted both the delay and the launch note.

Why does my Thousand Towers clear show 999 Green Keys?

1.0.6.1 fixed Chapter 1 recording every clear as 999 green. Update, then treat older stamps as unreliable.

I cannot launch the game (Steam init failed).

1.0.6 tried to reduce that error. Restart Steam, update the client, and clear the download cache. See the troubleshooting page.

Is there a YouTube patch video?

No verified official trailer ID was indexed for this wiki. Use Steam news until a real watch URL exists.
