Legal fights only. Zero damage means walk away.

Combat Calculator

Type the six numbers from the handbook. The tool uses the classic Magic Tower first-strike model described in Combat and routing. It does not scrape the game. It does not know hidden bosses. It will not open doors for you. It will tell you whether a red bat is a lesson or a wipe.

Combat calculator

Enter hero and monster stats. The result uses the classic Magic Tower first-strike formula.

How to read the result

If the hero cannot damage the monster, stop. You need ATK, not potions. That is the Floor 3 sword lesson in Destined Melody. If the monster cannot damage you, the fight is free aside from time — still check that you are not spending a key to reach a free fight you do not need.

Rounds to win is ceil(monster HP / hero damage). HP lost assumes you strike first unless you switch the radio. First-strike enemies need the other setting or you will undercount. Survive means HP lost is strictly less than current HP. Equal HP is a fall in this model; do not get cute.

Worked mindset, not a spoiler table

Suppose you have 1000 HP, 100 ATK, 50 DEF. A monster has 400 HP, 80 ATK, 40 DEF. You deal 60 per round, it deals 30. You win in 7 rounds, lose 180 HP if you strike first, and live. If its DEF were 100, you would deal zero and the tool would refuse the fight. That refusal is the feature.

Now put a shop in the next room that sells +10 ATK. Recalculate the illegal monster. If it becomes legal and cheaper than a potion route, buy. That is items plus this tool, which is the whole genre.

Limits

Magic that ignores DEF, regeneration, double hits, and counterattacks are not in the form. Read the handbook extra line. Rhythm or cultivation overlays in Rhythm Cultivation and System Cultivating may add checks this widget cannot see. Use it for the grid fight, then obey the extra system.

Green Key supplies change the HP and ATK you type in. They do not change the formula. Hardcore is the same form with scarier inputs.

Keep this page open next to How to play during your first Destined Melody hour. Keep it open during DLC. Official combat screenshots on the hero are local Steam art. Your numbers come from the live handbook, not from this image.

A habit that saves keys

Before you spend a yellow key, calculate the most dangerous monster in the room you are buying. If that fight is illegal, the key is a donation to a wall. If the fight is legal but lethal, check whether a potion on your current path is cheaper than the room. If the fight is free, ask whether you needed the room at all. That three-way fork is the whole reason this widget exists.

Use it on The Saga of Tower when story urgency makes you sloppy. Use it on System Cultivating when a System window looks like a grind. Use it on Rhythm Cultivation for the grid layer, then obey rhythm checks separately. Use it on A Thousand Towers Journey so a side tower does not eat the main climb’s budget. Pair it with Getting started for Cloud saves so a mis-tap is not a lost evening. The Towers Hub is the roster; this page is the arithmetic that every name on that roster still owes you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Tower Realm questions.

What formula does this use?

Hero damage = ATK − monster DEF. Monster damage = monster ATK − hero DEF. Rounds = ceil(monster HP / hero damage). First-strike HP lost = monster damage × (rounds − 1).

Why does it say I cannot damage the monster?

Your ATK is not higher than its DEF. Raise ATK or skip the tile. Potions will not fix an illegal fight.

Does it include every Tower Realm skill?

No. It models ordinary handbook stats. Special lines in the game always win.
